    1. Ohio State
    2. Michigan
    3. USC
    4. Florida
    5. Notre Dame
    6. Arkansas
    7. W. Virginia
    8. Rutgers
    9. Louisville
    10. LSU
    11. Texas
    12. Auburn
    13. Boise State
    14. Wisconsin
    15. Oklahoma
    16. California
    17. Wake Forest
    18. Georgia Tech
    19. Virginia Tech
    20. Boston College
    21. Tennessee
    22. Maryland
    23. Nebraska
    24. Clemson
    25. BYU

USC and Rutgers benefitting the most from all the upheaval. USC will more than likely pass Florida in the polls if they continute to dominate Oregon tonite. A close USC means Florida would get the #3 spot instead.

Rutgers is not such a long shot anymore. USC losing to Oregon or Cal, and then beating Notre Dame. Rutgers knocks WVU out of it obviously. Florida losing to FSU or the SEC CG, which is more than likely. Arkansas losing to LSU.

Do you think Arkansas might leap frog us also? Imagine possibly getting jumped by 2 teams when the new polls come out.:nope:

First of all, you can drop Texas down to about #9 with their loss. Not sure we will pass them, but we might. Rutgers will be a big winner this week--next week is another matter.

However, this weeks results mean that Auburn would win any 3-way tie. They would share a 4-1 division record with LSU, but Arkansas would have a 3-2 record if they lose to us and State. That means Arkansas would fall out in the 2nd tiebreaker and it would revert to the LSU-AU head-to-head. Of course, Auburn wins that, so the BCS rankings wouldn't matter.

LSU still needs AMAB to beat Auburn and State to beat Arkansas.

How can you open your mouth about compairing LSU and Arkansas??? Arky beat you in OT by 1 point whereas you just witnessed a 14-point loss to LSU in regulation??

I adjusted the polls for the Texas loss.

LSU's big problem with moving up in the polls was last week at Tennessee. LSU should have won 42-10. Instead it turned out to be a nailbiter and we failed to get the much needed style points.

Tonight's game was better, but was nothing to write home about. A 35-6 win would have been more appropriate, but Bama exposed our defense tonite for whatever reason.
