Apparently, some over in Trojan-land are, like LSU, worried about their 2004 strength of schedule (this wasx referenced on another LSU board but the source was not listed): This makes up for Va. Tech and then some, IMO, but only if they'd agree to travel here in 2004 since it'll have to be a home game for us.
That would be a great game and I'm sure that Skip would be more than happy to do a home-home series with them.
they opened with auburn why not us? If I had to guess USC has their schedule booked for next year, but it would be awesome.
Since, if we both win out the rest of our games, one of us will be screwed, this sounds like a great Kickoff Classic-type game to me to open the season.
Ramah, they opened with Auburn home-n-home the last two seasons. Now, if they somehow knew Auburn was way overrated this year, I want to know who their advance scheduling prognosticator is so that we can acquire his services. But I don't think they did. I think it's a great idea. And unlike us, USC doesn't need to schedule seven home games every year, so their flexibility could help us out. They usually only do six a year.
