Our pitching staff has sucked the last couple years. Smoke better go find some guys that can throw SMOKE next year. Or else... More of the same :usaflagwa :laflagwav :tigbas:
pitching staff is fine but we do need a dominating starter. Some top echelon pitcher coupled with dirks (who can be dominating hes only a freshman), Lane, Meier, Determan.... Greg Smith is hard throwing lefty and only a soph who will be the closer. Faircloth is decent. also, hanagriff is starting to make me ill on the broadcast. hes so negative it brings me down.
I agree we have a solid set of arms, but we are lacking (and have been) a stud. Who was the last "stud" to take the mound for the Tigers? I know we have had some good arms, but who could we count on (all season long) for 7-8 inninings and 3-4 hits.
Who is going to be doing the recruiting if Turtle goes to UNO next year? Is Smoke motivated enough to go out and find the 90 +mph kid that will not go to high in the draft?
