ESPN reporting on SportCenter that Saban is on Bama's wish list. This is flat out halarious. No coach that is in a half way good situation right now would leave for Bama, especially in Saban's case, where he has it made. Maybe thats what Fran was talking to Saban about at midfield..
Since when has LSU ever been on Alabama's level? Try right now and for the past 10 years or so. WOW. The Bammers will never get it. This is not the 70s and Bear's era. Bama is on probation, can't keep a coach and won't see a championship of any kind for the next half decade. Yet, they still think they are the elite program of college football and all others should bow at their feet.
That really made me laugh....They can say that stuff all they want...We have had the top recruiting class 2 out of the last three years(nationally). And we were SEC champs two seasons ago....I think they are just trying to salvage some dignity after losing another coach...It seems like coach's go there to kill their career(Dubose, Price)...
DallasLSU After the game, when the coachs meet at midfield, Saban offered a hand shake and Fran denied and started pointing and saying things. By the look on Fran's face it didn't look like he was saying the usual (ya know, great game, good luck in the future). Saban just kinda held his hands up in defense of what ever Fran was saying. It showed that Fran had absolutly no class. This was the game after the "Saban Speech" came out supposedly dissing bama. It was a total lack of class!!
If ANY coach from an established, stable program should take the Bama opening, he should be immediately fired. He's too stupid to be a head coach at the major college level.
