Well if LSU wins, we will have beat 3 top 10 teams. Two in the top 5. All we need in the AP poll is 10 of those voters to change position, but that probably unlikely to happen because the AP poll has never voted the #1 team before the bowl games to #2 when they won their game.
I agree, USCum was all for the BCS when it was going their way. Now that the final analysis is in, Boohoo! The BCS is not perfect, but for now we have to live with the outcome.
Let's pretend Michigan or Ohio State didn't lose two games, they both would have passed up USC as well. What does that tell you?
none of this split championship stuff means anything anyway because Michigan is gonna tear USC apart in the Rose Bowl......
Good thread. I say SC needs to suck it up and be happy with a chance at a split NC. I'm sick of reading how they "real" NC is being played in the Rose. But, much like the SECCG week, our guys can only handle the task at hand . . . beat Okla! We beat Okla and we walk off the Superdome floor with a BCS NC title. And we get to keep the entire thing, no cutting it in half and sending it to SC. I'm happy with that, I'm just sick of reading and hearing how the Rose is the true NC.
