Rivals did an interview with LD, talking about the meeting they had with Miles today (mom,rp,ld,sis-they liked him btw), and he mentioned that Miles had recruited Derron Thomas a couple of years ago, and Miles made a good impression on LD at the time. Furthermore, Karl Dunbar used to work for LD, and later Miles. He says Dunbar had a chance to come back to LSU, and chose to stay with Les. Dauterive said that made a positive impression since he chose Miles over his AM. He also mentions that Miles is actively trying to hire Dunbar back to LSU from the Bears. Miles told LD that he is going to "bring in an NFL-type guy to coach quarterbacks to give Ryan and them a chance to get to the next level." He notes that he doesn't know if that will be an NFL guy or one of his coordinators. ---------------------------------------------------------- My comments... - Well, if RP is not committed to LSU, he sure as hell is considering us hard - I like Miles' ideas, bringing in dedicated top flight guys to coach a position (QB coach, DL coach from NFL). Word is that Lovie Smith really does not want to let Dunbar go, which say somethin got me knowing Smith. - NCAA wil gran Miles an in home visit with RP - LSU is back on his last official visit schedule - Mom hugged Miles before they left
I have that "problem" too. Well I am proud to have it but people around me seem to think it's a problem.
The bandwagon will only grow as Miles brings in a great class this year. But, the bandwagon will take a hit if Miles losses a single game next year.
