Tiger fans, I have really enjoyed talking to most of you. But it looks like I will be banished once I finish this post. When Saddam was captured, I made a post saying that he gave up in order to watch OM in their bowl and LSU in theirs. I would have thought most people would have realized that this was just a joke. No disrespect was intended to our troops. Apparently, I offended the TN Tiger. I did not mean to. He thought I was tacky. I did inform him that I was a VN vet. I am totally for this country. Even if we do wrong. The last thing on my mind was hurting someone. I did not care what country or state you were from. GXLSU thinks I'm stupid. He may be right. However, I am college educated. Is he? I hope he is. That puts him in the top 10/20 per cent. And a degree of any kind from LSU will help you any time. Sourdoughmanman thinks I'm scary. (so does my wife) He thinks I am mad because Eli fell down. I wish it had not happened but who is to be mad at?His guard, the "mean old stupid defensive player from LSU that knocked that guard back into Eli?" Yes. It hurt. But there are a lot of more important things in my life. I'm a vet and dad gum proud of it. Didn't want to go. But you can still complain and downgrade us. Because you still have that freedom. Sorry. My post was meant as a joke that he (of all people) wanted to watch these games. I did not cuss or talk about anyone's mother. Today, I looked on this very board. There are posts of a picture of Saddam leading a band. There is a question about him being a stand in for Jerry Garcia. Sourdoughman says a ZZ Top picture would be cool.

Relax, I think that they just came down on you hard b/c you have "reb" in your name and nobody else here had yet made a joke about the incident, thus setting the norm and what is acceptable. I read the thread that you are referring too and thought that you were treated unfairly. You've been one of the more pleasant rebel posters here.
Col Reb, I'm sorry if I offended you. I really didn't realize it was a joke. I saw it after arguing with Ramah over a bunch of nonesense. After dealing with him I would question anything with his line of thinking. I was beginning to think the Wackos were coming to this board. It was a scary day when you consider some of the wierd messages people were leaving here.
No one was ever banned for being stupid. This post is the first one that made you sound like an adult.
Hell if being stupid gets you banned then this would have to be an Ole Miss board with all banned members. I never met a smart Ole Miss fan. hehehe
