Gotta love it. First, it pretty much knocks W.VA out of an at large BCS bid, so that helps our cause. Second, Herbstreit looks like an ass for saying W.VA would beat us on a neutral field. Yeah, right.

That, and the fact that he said that, "my 'source' says that West Virginia would bring 20 K+." (to a BCS game) ....ugh....LIKE LSU WOULDN'T?!?!?!

    Enjoy that crow, Herb! :hihi:

My sources are telling me South Florida will get an at-large berth and the BCS is looking to see if they can amend the rule that only 2 teams can qualify for BCS bowls. They want to expand that number to 4, to allow Louisville, South Florida, W. Virginia, and Rutgers all into BCS bowl games, eliminating the automatic bid clauses for Notre Dame and Boise State.

    I'll keep you guys updated.

I told ya, the dude is hiding in a closet crying like a baby right now.

Hopefully the play with "Something to prove" next weekend and take Rutgers out which will strengthen our cause. Big East is getting exposed like most believed but WV, Louisiville, and Rutgers are scary on offense.

I don't want to be rude, but instead of eating crow, how about a bowl of dicks. ;)

Don't know if I'd go THAT far. WVU and Louisville are scary on offense, yes, but Rutgers?? Ugh, IMO, not so much.

Rutgers' staple is their defense. Sure, they can hang 30+ points on Syracuse--but then again, so could Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky and South Carolina.

Rutgers DOES have Ray Rice--a very underrated RB and Teel--an underrated QB--but they wouldn't exactly put up 20 points on a top defense the way Louisville and WVU could.
