I don't know. I did hear on ESPN or some sports channel that he could maybe be the coach for Florida State after Bobby Bowden leaves. That's just what I heard. Wouldn't that be somethin when the ol ball coach goes back to The Swamp to face his old team.

He's been humbled by the NFL. I don't know if he can get that old attitude back.

oh, jeezus....the NFL is where he got the attitude in the first place! Does anyone else remember who the quarterback was for the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1976 that went 0-14? None other than Steve Spurrier. That's where he got the attitude. Look the fug out. I don't like Darth Visor...don't agree with his actions, but, the guy CAN recruit and he CAN coach at the collegiate level.

Spurrier's magic has lost its' sheen. Spurrier could always recruit in talent-rich FLA ... even Zook can ... look at your population base there ... very rich indeed. Now ... if Texas gets enough of Mack Brown and Spurrier goes to Texas ... not out of the realm of possibility ... especially with what I am hearing from the alumni ...

the rest of the Big 12 could be wearing their azzes for hats ...

    Sooner;) than you think!

The word I have been hearing is Nebraska, but I do not see that happening because Spurrier and the cold weather do not go hand in hand. He would also have to change Nebraska's offense significantly from where it is today, not to mention he would be working for an overbearing AD. Thanks God Tubby stayed at Auburn, and Miss St already hired Croom, because those could have been prime gigs for the visored one.

Let him stay in the NFL.....posiibly the MIami Dolphins next year?? The rumor is now on the airwaves, we will see......

and Ramah...I would welcome him to Texas because it is not the SEC.

Howdy Coach Spurrier, beat OU just once here at UT and you will be king of the world!!! We may even name one of the sidelines after you!

    YEEEE HAAAAA!
