Nah. Lousiana is a lock for Bush and we don't have as many electoral votes as California. ;)

    Yeah, what's up with that?

Didn't Bush invite the freakin USC AP chumps? Why is he dissing the legitimate BCS Champions? What could be his reasoning behind such disrespect?:dis:

I'd hate to base my vote on something like this, but this is unexcusable. I don't want a President who sucks up to voters so much. It's pathetic and it lacks integrity.

Maybe he's not sucking up to the california voters as much as he is the ap. Granted the people who voted were sports writers, but i'm sure it still makes the press feel special.

I AM an LSU man and ALWAYS WILL BE...

...but the last time I checked, Cal-lee-forn-ya has 55 electoral votes, and Looziana has 9.

...plus, Louisiana will already vote for Bush, and with all the freaks out here Bush could have a hard time comin' up with the 55 from Cali...

...the ONLY thing that presidential candidates covet more than $$$$ is electoral votes...

    I'm Confused

Why do you think Bush is automatically politicizing a traditional visit by the NCAA national championship team? Can the man possibly be so shallow. After all, he has taken more vacation time than any other modern day president. One would think he could pencil in time for a 15 minute photo op session, even if it does cause him to have to work the odd nine hour day. Maybe he could carve some time out of his next strategy session with his good buddy "Kenny boy" Lay.
