been abducted by a spaceship full of superior Cow Beings and transported to their Home on the Range for processing into Big McRedneck Burgers? I'm starting to worry that something ominous might have happened in StarkVegas. Its already Wednesday morning and I haven't seen a single post by a fan of the Jackie Sherrill School of Creative Bovine Castration. C'mon guys. There has to be somebody there. It won't be any fun to win by forfeit. Even if there is no internet in your cow pasture you could at least hop on your mules and ride out to a big truck stop on the Interstate and use the pay by the minute internet terminals. Don't ya'll know that even though a football is called a pigskin in reality footballs are made out of cowhide?

I wasn't expecting an intelligent reply. A couple of guttaral Moo's would make me happy.

Maybe their Dilitheum Crystal CowPies overheated and created a time warp that pulled Starkville into the Dark Ages. Wait a minute. That would be an improvement.

Over 24 hours and still no response from StarkBase Vegas. Tricorder readings record no cowbells. Spock, McCoy - Meet me in the transporter room.

Has anybody ever wondered why Captain Kirk would always beam himself, the ships captain, Spock, the Vulcan who saved Kirk from his own stupidity almost every episode and McCoy, the Enterprise doctor into unknown hazardous situations where 3 of the most important people on a spaceship zillions of lightyears from Earth could have had their molecular structure transformed into a half empty can of stale Budweiser by the EvilDoer Superior Cow Beings for all they knew.

Or is it possible that Moo U offers such a superior education that all of its fans are too intelligent to post even a hearty Moooooooo in the way of pregame smack? Even a few ULM, Zona and Leatherneck fans had the guts to speak up for their outgunned teams. Well future steaks, hamburgers and stew meat - You can hide but you can't run - or pass or play defense either.

No bites from the State faithful.

Might as well keep talking about Star Trek. I always wondered this. OK, they have a starship with an antigravity system so powerful that it keeps them from being splattered against the bulkhead every time they jump into Warp Speed. So, when they go into some special maneuver, why do they all lean to one side, like a sailboat tacking into the wind?

State fans are no fun at all.....its not going to be nearly as fun beating State as it was Georgia.....State fans don't even attempt to talk smack, much less show their face....Whats the fun in that???

It must have been a real tough engineering problem. Even by the Next Generation with Captain Picard the still leaned to one side. I never watched any of the Star Trek versions after that. Did they ever figure it out?
