as of yet in this campaign?

Which other candidate-other than David Duke-has come so far from so little, using nothing? I heard an absolutely revolting commercial from Blanco's campaign on Baton Rouge radio about how "Republicans are thinking we don't vote, and they don't care about us"...The over-voice was meant to sound African American, and the overall tone of the commercial was about how they needed to band together as African Americans and vote Democrat...

    Nice job, Kathy...Real nice...

Whose worse for Black Americans in Louisiana? The Republicans? Or those in the party that pimps those same Black Americans? To hear their comments about their lots in life, it seems blacks haven't gotten much out of their party of favor...and it seems like Democrats always deal from the bottom of the deck when they find a fight on their hands...

Follow the money on this election...Here's guessing that Blanco will energize the black get out the vote effort to help her win...But at least she's flipping the script...This time, it'll be a white female doing the pimping of blacks...and not blacks pimping white women...

Foster paying Duke was a GREAT THING FOR LOUISIANA...

...if indeed he was paying him not to run. Keeping Duke off of the front pages was necessary for this state to heal.

I was in Shreveport the day of the election and I turned in front of this van. The van was cruising down the street with the driver, a black man, flying his arms about the window. The whole van was decorated in Buddy Leach's signs. This guy was honking, yelling, and throwing his arms about...It was actually a funny sight and laughed for a good 20 minutes about it. But my point is that Leach and Ieyoub, in particular, poured in so much money so that they could get vans and people in the black areas. While there is nothing illegal about it, paying black people to run around with your signs....even though they have no idea who you probably are and might not even vote for you...could be considered buying votes in my book...

Let's face it, what pisses Louisiana Repbublicans off is not that black votes are bought--they aren't. What they object to is that they vote at all.

A good example of this are John Hainkel's recent remarks. He ranted and raved about voting activities in black areas of New Orleans, but then was forced to admit that he knew of no cases where votes there were actually "bought."

Doug Moreau's remarks when the zilch right wing nut Woody Jenkins was defeated for the US Senate are another good example, along with Mike Foster's.

    Not enough credit is given.

Any "political operative" worth a damn DOESN"T get caught! Too much emphasis is given on accusations and not enough credit is given to the effectiveness of Democratic political operatives in the inner-city.
My only concern, which I'm sure is shared by those who hum the wall theme as srongly as I do is the intermixing of black churches and Democratic politicians. We should all be as vigilant as JD and myself when it comes to separating church and state with a wall. You can bet we'll be keeping a close eye ever Sunday from now until election day to make sure Blanco and her allies don't step foot in any pulipits and stay where they belong, in the pews.

JD, I am not partisan...I am commenting on a specific situation in which I favor a Republican over a Democrat, sir...It's also a known fact that Cleo controls a machine that delivers tens of thousands of votes on election day in statewide elections races-if he's paid the right price. Why do you think Ieyoub and Leach poured so much street money out? He gets them into a van, puts a pushcard into their hand, and offers them a free chicken dinner or Jambalaya or other small penances in return for the ride to the polls and taking the pushcard with them.

JD-I hate to say this-but I've SEEN it. I KNOW it works. Bill CLINTON knows it works. You KNOW the score.

You are simply mired in this rut of your opinion about me...

I voted for Landrieu, but detested the way she had to win. I think Suzanne Haik Terrell was the absolute worst statewide candidate in recent memory to hold any office. I vote for Democrats all the time. The problem is you can't accept this...

Being INDEPENDENT means I can support CANDIDATES, and not parties...Such as in the Landrieu/Terrell race, and again in the Blanco/Jindal race...

I am bashing the Democrats for known practices and poor techniques that abort the constitutional election process in this nation. I bashed Republicans, and Terrell, vociferously for their mismanagement of their campaign (which was the closest a Republican has ever come to holding a Senatorial seat in this state-EVER) not by letting Washington money come in, but Washington THINKERS take over for her...

Her Wizard of Oz Scarecrow imitation of a campaign platform was the biggest turn off I've ever seen...EVER...in a statewide candidate...

Seriously...Who would want to elect an individual based on the fact she'll vote with the President-EVERY TIME-instead of someone who'll vote with Louisiana in mind?

See, what you can't understand is that I can bash BOTH parties equally, but just in certain situations, I bash Democrats....so in your mind, I'm a closet Conservative and Closet Republicans...

You're wrong sir...Very wrong...and I've tried to point this out numerous times, but you seem to forget at almost each and every turn when it suits you...

But, JD, I assure you, I am independent, and I hold ire for Republicans and Democrats anywhere I don't like the CANDIDATES. Democrats in this state pay black get out the vote machines, and I can't stand that. Republicans in this state seem to think that Washington will help them win an election, even though Henson Moore, Buddy Roemer, and now Suzanne Haik Terrell have all proven that theory to be horribly flawed for almost a decade...

JD-I am INDEPENDENT-and your attempts to paint me into a corner one way or the other, just because I come out against the Democrats in this state or against a Democratic candidate from time to time is getting VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYY tiring...

Will you please recognize this fact? Can I PLEASE stop having to answer this ridiculous allegation over and over and over again...When will I prove it to you? Is there ANY hope for your critical reading comprehension skills?
