Just wanted to know....has it really set in yet that we are actually playing for a national championship?
Not for me yet. I think I still expect FSU, or Bama, or Ohio St. to somehow sneak in. If I am dreaming, don't wake me!!! GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
For me, it'll start setting in right after Christmas. All the holiday shopping will be over with; good bowl games will be on tv; and LSU-OU will be right around the corner. :geaux:
It hasn't set in for me yet either. I think it will start once Christmas is over and the bowl frenzy starts. The rinky dink bowls that are going on right now don't do a thing for me.
I was very pleased to watch this team get better all year long. LSU did things when they needed to and other things fell into position as needed. However since we are #2 in the human and BCS polls it to me is more of a deserved treat than a surprise. I have been following the BCS and watching how things were coming together for and actually thought it should have been settled a week before however certain SOS things did not come together. LSU has earned this spot and the program looks as healthy as it can.
That's pretty much the same way I'm viewing it. I think that once the better bowl games start up, it'll slowly start creeping in on me that we're playing for the National Title. :geaux:
