Dear Coach Saban, First, this is a special day, because it is your Birthday. Today is a day to celebrate your life. You said recently that your mother isn’t certain if she got a trick or a treat? Well, as far as all Tiger fans are concerned, we have a special treat in you as a person and as a coach who represents LSU with tremendous Class, Integrity, and Intensity. This letter was inspired out of love for LSU to encourage you and to express our heart felt appreciation for all your hard work and making us all very proud to be a Tiger. You clearly know football; you clearly know players, coaches, fans, the media, and what it takes to be successful in life and as the head coach at LSU. We are all just so excited to be following you and the team. We are just enjoying the ride. We hope and pray that you are as happy being our coach as we are to have you as our coach. Thank you for being a great example for our players, coaches, fans, and LSU. Lastly Coach, we appreciate your humility and your heart for Jeff Boss and the words you expressed about his life and the impact he had on others. Wednesday night you said you wished you had a profession to impact people the way he did. Coaches, Teachers, and people who have a servant heart are the people who impact young people the most, particularly their character.
