Hal Mumme BETRAYS SLU by agreeing to coach New Mexico State

    I don't really think he betrayed anybody. Just making fun of you people who think Saban betrayed us and Petrino is betraying Louisville etc.

    He got a better offer and took it. How dare he?

    Hmm, now I'm worried.

    If Petrino is interested in the LSU gig because of the wealth of high school talent in Louisiana, then being the Lions next head coach might appeal to him.

    Mumme's offense is similar enough to BPs that he can easily translate his offense for the returning players.

    Petrino might give SLU a long, hard look.

    Kind of sorry to see Hal leave. I went to see them play McNeese last year
    during an LSU open date, and even though McNeese (#1 in 1AA at the time)
    crushed them, the enthusiasm of the fans and players impressed me. He was looking like he had it all turned around this year, having a winning season in only their second year back, and contending for the 1AA playoffs. I wish him
    well.

    and then they crushed mcneese this year...i saw them play a couple times this year they were pretty fun to watch.
