What makes a true LSU fan? Define this and ask yourself if you fit the bill. I am sick and tired of people complaining about our beloved Tigers. Sure we might have some problems here and there but just remember the Dinardo years. To be 6-2 with three games left was something to cheer about back then. Have we all been putting the target on our own Tigers the whole time? Our expectations to win a National Championship year after year are not a good aspiration to have. To help our team the most, we must support them to the fullest, and that includes the coaches too. We must stick behind Randall and Russell, however good or bad they do. Last year we were unstoppable because we were the underdogs and we came in the games focusing on the next play and opportunities to win the game, and we never gave up hope. Kentucky should have taught us that. This year, it was all about repeating the NC. It was not about winning the game at hand, it was about getting to the Orange Bowl. This week we play Alabama. That is all we should focus on. Think of the opportunity that our Tigers have to shine, and succeed on national TV. But you know what, win or lose, after Saturday, it's time to focus on the next game and how our Tigers will have yet another opportunity to make their beloved fans proud. The LSU Tigers are something to be proud at and not analyzed and criticized by their own fans. We are 6-2 and out of 119 team in division 1-A, we are the 17th best in the land. That is something to be proud of. We should all be proud of our Tigers. We are LSU fans for crying out loud. The best damn fans in the land. We, the fans make Tiger Stadium the worst place to be for a visiting team. LSU needs us and we should be more than willing to give our utmost, 110%, fullest support we can possible give them.

    GO TIGERS!! BEAT 'BAMA!!

  3. great post. glad to see other people agree with me other then just sabanfan.
  4. That is because he is not listening to the boos at Tiger Stadium and he is not listening to the idiots calling the talk shows all day. You or I might be worried if we as football coaches listened to the sports talk radio shows in our college's town.
  5. Wish I'd written this one. :thumb:
  6. Totally agree (except we have an open date this Saturday and play Bama next Saturday).
  7. Good post!!!! :thumb:
I'm happy just to watch the Tigers play and know that they CAN win every game they are in. I had high hopes for this year but in no way am I down on
this team or the coach. We have only 3 games left and a Bowl game, I plan on enjoying the rest of the year.
  8. i am fully supporting ronnie prude.

ronnie, the sure interception you dropped against jason campbell and auburn that cost us the game is history, it's time to look to the future and 3 straight SEC games.

and next year ronnie prude will be the leader of the defensive backs.
  9. Good write Kid.:thumb: :thumb:
I agree we are having good year in my book. Dead on with what collegefootballnews put us 9-2 losing to Au and UGA. I think we are having a good year and should we win out it would be an awsome year. Agree with everything except the 110% thing, cant give more than your are, the math just doesn't work.....
  10. A 9-2 regular season with a New Year's Day bowl (and possibly 10 wins) seems pretty successful to me. The win in the swamp was great, and we were just a shade from beating AU.

These Tigers are gonna be great next year!
