Supposed to be a starter.... it isn't beyond Tuberville to still play this guy. I'd be surprised if he didn't.

Somehow I think all of this may be "resolved" by an investigation on the part of "Detective" Tubby, who will offer various favors from Bobby Lowder in exchange for an unclear memory on the part of the police officer who pulled Rowell over.

In this respect, "Detective" Tubby will be following in the footsteps of "Detective" Fulmer, who conducted a similar "investigation" relating to allegations of sexual assault against a University of Tennessee football player.

As part of the deal, Tubby will promise to impose Houston Nutt-like "discipline" upon Rowell in the form of having to run the stadium steps for a week.

    Actually, he's been suspended indefinitely:

    http://www.auburntigers.com/football/

And a source inside the football program is saying he will be transferring to Ga. Southern. His parents support the move because they feel like he needs to get away from some bad influences (he grew up in Opelika, a town right next to Auburn). That's not official, though.

And he isn't projected to be the starter. He was passed in spring practice by Travis Williams who came on so strong that they may not move Dontarrious Thomas to MLB, but insert Williams there and let him call the signals for the D. Rowell was expected to get a good amount of playing time, though.

"Suspended indefinately" is Tubbyspeak for lets take a look at the schedule for cupcakes. Problem is, they start with USC. If he stays at Auburn, I would bet the house that Tubby lifts the suspension.
