EXPECT LOADS OF INTERFERENCE CALLS & PERSONAL FOULS. 106 penalties over 12 games for almost 1,000 yards. They make LSU look squeeky clean. Congratulations ... another of 10 solid reasons LSU wins big Saturday. Penalties---------------------LSU 33rd, UGA 10th (kudos to ballbiters) Geaux Bulldawgs ... make the game last 4 hours and 15 minutes and give the crew Arthur-itis bending over for all those damned flags.
And, they are 7th in penalty yardage ... they get the BIG PENALTIES ... ball-biting, etc ... while LSU gets the small stuff and is in the middle of the Div 1-A pack.
IMO - it's not the number of penalties, it's the timing of those penalties. The penalties LSU has experienced have killed many drives this year. So we're now going to win because UGA will be penalized more than LSU?
The GAys are always dirty. Its a requirment to play ball at Athens. It gets passed down to every freshman class.
