Would have to be "Wish you were here" or "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" but yet again.

NOT POP MUSIC people. I think some are saying "Pop" music is different than "Popular" music. That is like saying Dick isn't short for Richard. They are one in the same.

No. This thread is about popular music. Pop is a genre of popular music, so are rock, jazz, punk, and rap.

    WRONG

Pop is short for Popular which is short for top 40 which is short for taylor swift, justin bieber, nikki whatever the hell her name is, and any other bubble gum no talent crap that you hear on 90% of radio stations across the country. Sorry if this scares you but I'm right.

    WRONG

You are talking about pop music. This thread is about popular music, a more generic term which incorporates pop. Have you noticed the bands and songs being thrown around? Queen, Cream, Pink Floyd. I dont quite see why you are failing to understand this.

I have noticed it, and I have noticed that none of them are pop. See how that works?

No Supa is right this time.

Popular Music in the greater sense is all music that is not classical or obscure ethnic recordings. Essentially Popular Music gets played on mainstream radio and is available on the popular media of the time. It includes jazz, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, country, folk and pop. Yes, "pop" is short for "popular", but pop music is something else entirely. Pop is designed mostly for Top-40 airplay and aimed at a teenage audience.
