great UT-LSU games of the past.....

    on October 28,1967 UT defeated LSU 17-14 in Knoxville. UT finished 9-2(lost 26-24 to Oklahoma in the Orange bowl),LSU finished 7-3-1(they defeated Wyoming 20-13 in the Sugar Bowl).

    That is a fine game, but I personally think the 2000 game was better, 38-31 LSU defeated UT in overtime, LSU finished 8-4 beating GaTech in the Peach Bowl. That is a much better game! :D

    i think the best UT-LSU game of all time....

    was the 1989 45-39 win by UT in Baton Rouge.

    Don't forget the loss on a goal line stand that is still disputed by many Tiger fans in 1959 that cost us a NC.

    Strange as it may sound, I'm looking forward to hearing LSU's band. I don't want to hear them play TOO mcuh, but they are fun to listen to when the Tigers are driving.

    Indeed, I would rather be playing Auburn, as I think LSU is a much tougher task for the Vols.

    I was wondering, do you think the band member who shoved Duvall out of his way was thinking the whole way down, "I'm gonna push him if he is in my way!!!", basically physching himself up for the big confrontation? I think he was getting himself fired up the whole was down.

    Three days and counting til the BIG GAME!!!!
