I hate it for Grambling, but I am glad their racist, anti-LSU coach got his a** handed to him tonight on national TV.
Agreed. While I always root for Grambling and all other Louisiana schools, I cannot stand Doug Williams.
If you know Coach Williams, then I will be happy to give him another chance if he would clarify, retract, or apologize for his negative comments regarding LSU, the SEC, the hiring practices/racial preferences of SEC schools, et. al. I would also like to know why he is so afraid to schedule non-historically black 1-AA schools in Louisiana, no wait, I already know the answer to that. McNeese State's 53-20 thrashing of Grambling St. last year nakedly exposed for all to see why GSU ducks Louisiana's other 1-AAs every chance they get. I guess there is no chance of getting them to play Northwestern St. or of them participating in the 1-AA playoffs now. If Doug Williams is afraid to play in the 1-AA playoffs, why doesn't he just come right out and say it, instead of hiding behind this racial pride BS? Oh yes, Grambling St. did get drilled today. 29-0. Again, I feel bad for the team and the school, but not Williams.
Can you prove Croom was not hired because he was black? That's a serious allegation, one that you had better not make unless you have proof with which to back it up. Croom was an excellent, well-qualified candidate. So was Mike Shula. It could've gone either way. Alabama decided they wanted the Shula name. No argument there. They thought they needed it so I'll side with them. Coach Williams was way off-base with what he said.

Yea Sportsnote were you actually defending Doug Williams? I would have liked to jumped in on that. I cannot stand the guy anymore.
