Nice to see him give LSU props, but he really thinks Ron Zook "ran one of the nation's best programs into the ground"?

That's a bit of an exaggeration in my estimation.

I didn't know the Ole Miss fan base was "fractured".

It was harsh, but he surely didn't do ANYTHING for FLA.

    Ditto !

Zook may be off the wall, but you can't deny that Fla's program is loaded ! He did a GREAT job bringing in talent.
He got screwed this year in an early game (Miami ?), then lost to Moo State in a game in which every bounce went State's way down the stretch.

I predict that he does well at Ill if he stays out of the nuthouse.

Yowch, thats a bit harsh for the Zooker. He kept the program in the Top 25 consistently and brought a whole lot of fresh talent to the program. Though he isn't the best coach, he is a great stepping-stone to Meyer, who now has a lot of tools on that team. I think Zook will do good at Illinois.

Zooks success at Florida is all about perception. Florida should get the "F" for hiring him in the first place. You take a team loaded with offensive talent, coming off the most successful decade in their entire existance where they piled up points on a regular basis and you hand them a defensive-minded coach that scales down the offenese??? ....NOT a good hire by Florida to begin with.
