    QB: A-
Except for a few slightly errant throws, Harris once again came up big. The biggest play of the season came when he could not connect with his first target, started to scramble and freak out like he had done so much in the early part of the season, and then calmed down, set his feet and hoisted a long pass downfield for a touchdown. That is called growing up before our eyes.

    RB: A-
Not the best night for our running backs, but still a solid performance considering that WKU dared us to pass for much of the night.

    WR: A+
Best game of the season, hands down. Tyrone Johnson even got in on the action with what maybe is the best catch and run of the entire season. 279 yards receiving, 3 TDs. Outstanding.

    TE/FB: C
Not a stellar game for these guys. We definitely have lost our only hope of a pass catching TE going forward with the injury to Dillon.

    OL: B-
Not our best effort here as well. Still getting these nonsensical false start penalties.

    DL: C+
Inconsistency still abounds regarding our ability to get to the QB.

    LB: C-
    Still regressing even further.

    DB: B
When you look at the stats and see that a high powered passing game only averaged 5.3 yards per pass attempt, you come away pretty satisfied. So while it looked worse than it actually was, our defensive backfield performed well. Adams with a nice interception. Redzone pass defense is still abysmal, however.

    ST/K: D
A kick out of bounds, some fairly inadequate punting, and onside kick we weren't even remotely ready for even though the circumstances called for it, and a block in the back on a great punt return that killed the end of the first half. The lone highlight was a fumble recovery.

    Coaching: B
Second half adjustments were great after a sluggish start.

I'd swap the DB and LB grade.

The blown coverage's were on the DB/s

    B+ for QB and WR.

Credit STs for solid FG performance, but I'm ok with a D.

DBs and LBs get C, but you're right about going up against a good passing team. They were good enough.

    Coaching - at least a B-

I'll take this win, uglier than I'd like but I'll take it.

Agreed. Jones was a beast Including a nice play on ST. Pass rush got some help. For a second there, I saw Coker on the ground.

The backup tight end was open for a pass, but Brandon missed him by a couple yards.

Solid scores, but I won't be as lenient on the DBs. 2 of their 3 TDS were when their receivers were blown coverages. This continues to happen multiple times in every game and it's a little too late in the season for that to be happening even once, let alone 2x or more per game. The DBs are easily confused with routes out of the stacked formation or when opposing WRs flood one side of the field.

Still give coaching a C, as I would prefer to see Guice and Williams spell #7 a little more and give opposing Ds a change of pace. Penalties also continue to negate big plays in what seems like every game. Tonight, it was the punt return and the scoop-n-score. Again, this is something else that shouldn't be happening with the frequency that it is at this point in the season.

We have 4 regular season games left and they all will be tougher than any opponent we've faced thus far. We cannot continue to be as inconsistent as we've been to date. So far, we have not put in a complete game in which all 3 phases dominate. Hopefully, the best is yet to come.

I still can't give the receivers an A plus when 3 passes are dropped. Solid A is more like it. I would also flip the linebacker and DB grades simply because of Rickey Jefferson. His play has gotten worse and worse to the point where he is a huge liability.

I would go A- on the WRs. 2-3 drops and Dural ran towards the defender on his breakaway catch.

I would go C+ on the DBs. One wholly blown coverage is worse than 4-5 poor coverages on a single drive. Jefferson and Thomas are liabilities. Doughty also missed a ton of open receivers over the middle.

I would go B on TE/FB. I didn't see any issues with Mouton. Jeter may not be able to block well, but I think he's a better passing game option than Gordon.

In all fairness, I don't know how much to take away from this game, as the field was in awful condition. No one could get a footing.

I was wondering what was he thinking in doing this... He actually have the defender the angle by doing this...
