why? it is not like we will get to drill it. All the anti-drilling nuts will never allow that find to be tapped.

I think they found it drilling, so I do think they will get to drill.
They are talking about a billion barrels, screw anti-drilling nuts on this one. You talking something that could bring gas prices down here.

I agree. Tap it and pump the crap out of it. And sell it here, don't ship it to North Korea as a present for giving us the finger.

I thought they found it prospecting on their license. If they were just hunting, I don't think they would be in place to really drill and pump. (I am guessing here)

at least halliburton didn't find it, it would be getting shipped into Iraq for double the price.

That's retarded. Iraq has plenty of oil. Hell, there is an entire desert out here just WAITING to be drilled. :hihi:

It's not as simple as go drill it. It's at depths that have rarely or never been drilled in the ocean before. They have to figure out how to drill it first.

The technology to drill and pump that find has not been completely developed yet I'm told, which is irrelevant because it will be approximtately ten years before we ever saw a drop hit the refineries.
