Yea,but how would you like to be Zook down on the field coaching a big game and knowing Spurrier is up in the stands.

Means nothing.....if Steve Spurrier says he wants back in at Florida, then the AD would buy out Zook in an instant. It's all up to Spurrier. All this means is that Florida thinks Zook is their best choice for now.

After the Auburn fiasco, Fla won't make the same mistake. Zook will be the coach and be well supported until Spurrier openly states he wants to coach there again. UF won't make that mistake and have Zook on shaky ground. Bad for your recruiting to be in a coaching flux.

    This was all about recruiting....

But Zook was, and still is, a lame duck coach.

As a Georgia fan I am lovin' this.

Zook can stay as long as he wants!
Zook is just another Houston Nutt. Incapable of a consistent winning record within the SEC.

Zook came very close to losing against Kentucky and South Carolina this season and his team will not be as good next year.

Georgia will take the SEC East again and the Gator fans will also end up with another instate loss to FSU..!!

    Lovin' this!

    I agree.

But it amounts to more of a psychological hurdle at this point for Georgia than anything else.

Next season, UGA will field a team entirely recruited by Mark Richt for the first time.

It will be interesting to see what happens!

ya'll are way off on zook. he had a great year against a tough schedule. he started a true freshman qb and has a young D. he won't be as good as spurrier, but he'll be a hell of a lot better than nutt. are you kidding me. florida has great talent (as good as anyone), give him a couple years to install his system.

Florida's best player on each side of the ball (Leak, Crowder) are young but they lose a lot of starters this year. Look at their roster. Unless Zook brings in some top notch talent, they will fall hard.
