Just wanted to say "Good Luck" today against Manning & Ole Miss. I think y'all win this one "going away", probably by 3 TD's. Represent the West when you get to the SECC, and remember, we'll be looking forward to hosting LSU at J-H next season. But right now, we've got our hands full in the "Iron Deficiency Bowl" today. BTW - Here in Atlanta, I'm continuing to hear many, many rumors regarding Saban & a couple of staff coming to the Falcons following Bowl Season. Hope they aren't true - I wouldn't wish that job on my own worst enemy - *grin*
Cadillac, Thanks for the support; I've seen your posts here for a while and you seem like a great sportsman. I hope your "rumors" are untrue!
Thanks for the kind words, fellas. It's been a tough year to be an Auburn fan, but I'm in it for the long haul. It's been easy to pull for LSU this season though, great team, very, very close to being the best we have faced all season. Win big....you're the best in the SEC for sure. War Eagle and Geaux Tigers!
Thanks Cadillac. Good luck to you too tonight against the Tide. I live about 1 1/2 south of Auburn and it's tough being an LSU fan there! I have to say though, from what I've seen this past week, a lot of Auburn fans are now pulling for us. Thanks for the support.
I haven't been able to keep up with the grapevine this week regarding this game, but it seems to me that Mauck will have a big day throwing the football, and Sky will likely have a big day for all-purpose yards. Auburn exposed the weakness on OM's punt/kick coverage and we have, perhaps, the worst special teams unit in the SEC. I will say this much about Ole Miss though. They sure as hell can present problems on third downs. EM's quick-release is perfect for Sunday's and his O-line has done a very reasonable job of protecting him so far. I think that's likely to change against a Saban coached defense though. LSU's aggressiveness will put relenting pressure on EM.....the question is, will EM make the mistakes?
Good luck against the gumps! You guys should have beaten ole mess, except for that dropped pass in the zone. Hope Henderson & Clayton don't drop one.
I just still can't believe that you guys lost to Ole Siss! Obomanu must have been beside himself! Sorry to bring it up...
