Life long Dolphin fan here. I just wanted to say that if you guys lose Saban, I have no doubt you guys will get a high quality coach. Your program has reached national prominence and you will have your pick of the litter. I think you've reached the point of a University of Miami type program and it's a matter of reloading.

Anyway, best of luck to you, however this turns out.

We have Nick Saban to thank for that national prominance, aided by Emmert and Bertman.

Davis would be a good choice. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he eschewed this "one year hiatus" by the lure of LSU.

Oh, I can think of some pretty ****ty things going on right now, especially at LSU. Also, why not Spurrier, didn't Majeraus quit USC after 4 days on the job.

FightinTiger, I'm not all that upset about not getting an opportunity at Spurrier. I've seen him on a couple of interviews lately, and he just strikes me now as somebody who's going to coast. That's not based on anything other than his demeanor, and my perception of it... but, hey, that's my basis and I'm sticking to it.

It's Spurrier he's a pretty ****ty guy, although I wouldn't mind having him here if Saban leaves.
