Okay -- this is getting out of hand. In the past 2 days I've seen Leinard and another USC stooge on 3 TV shows already. What is really getting me is that in each interview the hosts (and Lienard) made it sound like USC asked to play LSU and we backed down from them. Also, I've heard three mentions of "Repeat NC" for next season.... :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:
It's easy to be brave and run your piehole when you know the matchup will never come off. Leinart doesn't want any part of facing that Tiger D...he'd find out very quickly that Marcus Spears is his Daddy.
Michigan's blitzing defense was pitiful. Michigan does not have the speed that LSU's defense possesses. Matt Lienhart has not seen a pass rush the likes of LSU's. In much the same way that Jason White did not (Kansas State didn't even get to him nearly as much as we did....he still managed to throw for some near 300 yards against them). Bring on USC....bring on the pretty boys...and watch as we hurt Matt Lienhart. Their receivers will be blanketed just as OU's coveted receiver corps was blanketed by the LSU secondary. USC cannot run in much the same way as OU. Similiar offenses folks.....same DAMN results! USC scores only 10 points against LSU. Out receivers would get much more separation on USC's DBs that we did against the vaunted OU secondary. LSU would put up 27 points on USC's defense. LSU 27-10. Book it. OU over USC 31-16. Book it.
On PC's post game(Sugar Bowl) phone interview he stated that he offered to play the winner of the SB but no one took him up on his offer. That's where the players get that BS. PC made a silly comment then immediately scheduled V. Tech. Nothing but hype, just like the team itself.
Re: Re: Golden Boys making the rounds... A few Oklahoma fans said their AD tried to get a game between the two, but USC declined.
I thought Chad Lavalais was Leinart's daddy. Or maybe it was Marquise Hill? Or could it be Lionel Turner?
