Kinda cool how our season-opening THIRD STRING RB is in 2nd place for the "best RB in the West"!!! :)

Vincent is substantially outpolling Carnell Williams. Before the Auburn game, others said Williams would run us off the field. What a difference one game can make. What LSU player will be getting noticed after the Alabama game?

To any of you who believe that Vincent is better than Williams, I apologize.

Williams will be a high 1st round draft pick, and will have a fruitful NFL career.

Vincent at this point just doesn't have the pedigree. He has the potential to make himself a very rich man, and an offensive line in place for the next two years that will give him a stage on which to show his wares, but he's just potential right now.

Williams has done it, and he's done it behind a woebegone over-rated and underperforming line...

Vincent is more a result of timing and a good line, combined with talent. Williams has done what he's done on pure talent...

I agree that Caddy is great, but I'm glad that Lavilas is better.

No, he's done it against Western Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and ULM.

He is a good back though.

Caddy is the best RB in the entire conference, not just the West. Not taking anything away from Vincent, who IMHO has carried the load for LSU down the stretch, but the talent is a different level altogether. Caddy will be the top SEC RB taken in the NFL draft.

I also have to say Cadillac is the best in the conference. He made a couple of great 2-3 yard runs against LSU where any other back would have been stopped for a 2-3 yard loss. True he hasn't done that well in their 3 losses, but it's hard to run on defenses the likes of LSU, USC, and Georgia Tech when there is no threat of a passing game. If Cadillac had a decent line, a quarterback who could throw, and receivers who could catch every now and then, he would be the Heisman winner in my book. If he can stay healthy, he will prove just how good he is in the NFL.
