Given ut's efforts to alter the LSU\ut game time and or location, do you think they weren't completely focussed on playing the gators? Seems they spent a lot of energy on a game 2 weeks down the road when they already had an away game against a top 10 opponent. Are they that intimidated with the idea of playing LSU's first post Katrina home game, at night no less? I know the emotion will be overpowering and 99% of the country will be rooting for you. :geauxtige
Sorry...but I hope u aren't pulling for LSU. Its possible, that we could lose to LSU, and still go the the SEC champ game if that is our only SEC loss, and they lose to both Florida and Tennessee. I don't care either way as far as who I like more...but I'm pulling for Tenn, based purely on the fact that they are from the East. As I think every AU fan should be.
Some crybaby Tennessee weenie fans were looking ahead, perhaps, but I doubt that the Tennessee team was. We are definitely their focus now.
Yes, I am pulling for LSU. I always felt that a championship should come down how the two teams played against each other. I don't hold that a game against a noncommon opponent should have that much weight. I know that there is sometimes no way around it, but we were left out of the MNC game because of logic like that, not settling it on the field. There is no victory without honor.
I can't imagine they went into the Swamp not completely focused on that game. That game was huge & their game against us means a lot less to them on a personal level IMO.
You can bet Fulmer had their minds on U of F. We call him all sorts of bad names here on the forum and say what you will but he is still coaching at UT and they've done very well under him. that means he is sucessful, whether you or I agree with the "how" or not. thug U will be in town to "try" to push us around this next Saturday. I say we push them around and send em back to Knoxville. :geauxtige
