ONE...and please don't use the following excuses.... - he took the job when no one else wanted it.. - Big Baby is coming - Tas is coming - we have a young team... Thanks
Some of those young teams and young players are making noise in the tourney while some people just make excuses. From the reports here yesterday, Glen Davis is overweight so he won't be the savior next year.......if the reports are true
You are bashing LSU program man. Go & check out Glen Davis & provide us a link. Until the your talk is just talk.
Here is your link http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=12936&Sport=2 He is 6'8" 345 pounds?
Glen Davis has not qualified and that is a fact. He does not have the necessary test score to make into LSU as of yet. His weight is a major concern although he does have tremendous potential. He just needs to go on the Jared Diet at Subway to lose all that babyfat. I really think he needs to shed about 80 to 90 pounds from 345 weight. Although there are reports that he has lost a couple (15 to 20) of pounds as of late. Talented on the inside because he has the size but given the Crispy Cream Diet plan that he has been on his speed and endurance are a very legitimate concern at least at this point. He does have a very sweet jump shot from 8 to 10 feet and when you see him play you see the flashes of greatness.
Internet opinions are always fact. I saw a post on rivals, I believe, that he has a 2.8 gpa and a 19 on the test. One opinion is as good as another. Just like football recruits, we won't know if he is qualified until the season starts. Brady said that he will play at around 300 lbs.
i haven't bashed him, I said if the reports are true about his weight and it is a concern, he won't be the savior of LSU basketball. If he doesn't qualify then it won't matter. I didn't say he couldn't play or that he was a wasted scholarship so I don't know what your saying? I said it is a concern...... If for some reason he doesn't make it next year, who is now coming in that recruiting class?
