Bring down the house when these guys come out for their last home game. These guys came here at a time when we were struggling. Marcus Spears- could have gone anywhere. Has made tons of big plays and was instrumental in getting other good players to come to LSU Ben Wilkerson- also could have gone anywhere. Was a big time need for us. A true champion. Corey Webster- because of the coaching change he wasn't recruited to LSU until the last minute. Many int's, has played hurt, etc. Travis Daniels- gave up his redshirt to help us win the SEC Championship and has always put the team before himself. "I play for the team on the side of my helmet instead of the name on the back of my jersey" or something like that. Lionel Turner- I will never forget the delayed blitz in the National Championship game. Has been a very solid player in the middle. Marcus Randall- has always done his best. Never pouted. Will be successful in life. Feel free to add other stuff including people I left out.
This class was essentially the class that gave us our Nat'l Championship. This class also should include Michael Clayton and Marquise Hill. They were the #1 rated class who gave up offers to play for major schools at the time like the Tennessees and the Michigans. I can't think of another class that did as much for LSU as this one.
The greatest group of LSU seniors since Cannon, Rabb & Robinson, et al in 1959... Congratulations guys! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :lsug: :champs:  :champs: :lsug: :champs:  :champs: :lsug: The ONLY disappointing thing is that Mauck, Hill, & Clayton still aren't here to enjoy it too... I believe with those 3 guys still here we would have been in the hunt for the crystal again this year... BUT - they left to follow their dreams. No one can fault them for that...
Yeah I'm sure hoping we don't have a high humidity experience come Saturday night. I don't want it to rain on their parade.
All of those guys are going to come w/their hard hats on. I think if we smack Old Miss in the mouth and shut them out and have a good win over the Razorbacks these seniors can go out w/a hell of a bowl game against a top ten team. The seniors will leave LSU in good hands for next year; LSU could be ranked back in the top ten where we belong. It's up to the seniors to keep NS legacy going. You know Randall is going to get the start. I hope he shows up like he did against Florida.
If I'm not mistaken this could very well be the most winning group to ever don the purple and Gold by the time this season ends as Saban said that Turner has been the most winning LB of all time at LSU, so kudo's to the entire class.
You guys might not believe me if I told ya, but when we were building this class, I told a friend of mine from Indiana that this class could deliver us a NC because they were that special. By Golly I was correct. I realized how special that class was when Marquise Hill was all but headed to Michigan, then switched to LSU, that was great.
Do you realize that if this team wins Saturday, this will be the first LSU team to go undefeated (and without a tie) at home since 1972.
