Thanks, I hadn't watched the end and wasn't aware of the outcome. I think it's the first time they don't make it to the WS since it's inception. Maybe the pendulum is swinging to the SEC. Alabama should be o.k. too. Could have LSU, Tenn, and Bama representing.....has the makings to be another SEC Tourney instead of a "World Series". :grin:
Just kinda reflective of my mood lately- not feeling too expressive lately. I don't want to derail such a great thread supporting our girls but I'll say this much, my fathers' bout with cancer is coming to an end.......I never thought I could feel such pain, but seeing the man I always looked to for strength, knowledge, etc. not be able to even swallow is just painful in words I can't even begin to explain. BTW Hatcher, you can add another one to the list of people on your prayer line who won the battle- cause he essentially beat the cancer- it's the war we're losing......treatment/radiation to the brain that's proving too much to overcome. Thank you for your prayers- we're just praying now for God to be merciful and not have to see him suffer more......pretty tough time for our family right now.

If the scores that I found are correct, it appears the conference breakdown for the Super Regionals is as follows... SEC: 5 PAC 10: 3 Big 12: 3 Big 10: 2 Big East: 1 Big West: 1 WAC: 1 All five SEC teams could reach the WCWS as none of the teams play in the Super Regionals. Unfortunately four of the five SEC teams have to play on the road. What was the comment from the Pac 10 official who said that LSU was sent on the road due to their "weak" schedule? It sure would be nice if LSU and Alabama could eliminate two of the three Pac 10 teams on their own field. :geauxtige
Georgia was only SEC team to lose in the regionals, they lost to #1 Washington. SEC Super Regional Matchups: LSU! @ Arizona St. Bama @ #1 Washington Florida @ Texas A&M or Houston Loyola Marymount or Hawaii @ Tenn South Carolina @ #2 Northwestern
