With all these teams getting new uniforms I'm worried that LSU may change something. With a new coach and all there is a possibility. Anybody else worried?
I'm worried about what the defense is going to look like and who will step up at QB. I don't care if they wear cheerleader skirts as long as they kick a$$ on the field.
Not a stupid thread, just with all the changes in the off season uniforms is way down on my list of things to worry about. I like the current uni's but would be open to looking at something else as long as the firm that gave us toonces is not involved in the design.
It really is not a stupid thread. We all love the LSU uniform. It is one of the classic traditional uniforms in college football. Except for some small modifications here and there, the basic uniform design has been intact since about 1956 or 1957. I would hate to see that basic uniform undergo any change. I think Miles would be playing with fire if he made any major change to the home whites. If I recall, there was little change to the OK State uniforms while he was there.
I think Miles is more concerned/occupied with all of the talent at his disposal. Seriously, I wonder what the guy thinks when he wakes up in the morning. I can about imagine what his first thoughts were as soon as he looked at what he'd be working with.... "Holy ****! Look at this stable... Thank you Nick for making my job so easy!" In all seriousness though, I think he'll do a great job winning titles for us. He'll be so occupied doing that that he won't even have time to think about uniform changes.
Someone said LM liles tradition so I don't expect a uni change in the next few years. Also if the best they can do is what has been poping up lately I say keep with tradition.
I predict that in a mockery of oregon's highlighter yellow, and the clemson chick in the uniform... lsu comes out with highlighter yellow and lavender... it will be sooooooo pretty!!!
I dont really want a uniform change but would welcome an additional look or two, even if its just wearing the purple jerseys more.
who makes our jerseys? because most of the teams with the changes or added combos are with nike.. nike will do anything to add a new item for sale..
