ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Wide receiver Fred Gibson and tight end Ben Watson won't play for No. 7 Georgia on Saturday at No. 11 LSU. Gibson re-injured a sore hamstring in a victory over South Carolina last weekend. He will be held out of practice this week in hopes of recovering in time for the Oct. 4 game against Alabama, which comes after the Bulldogs (3-0) have a week off. Watson, who has a sprained ankle, didn't practice Tuesday and is definitely out for this week's game. Safety Kentrell Curry, who discovered a stress fracture in his right leg during preseason workouts, returned to practice this week. Coach Mark Richt doesn't expect the senior to play against LSU (3-0). "I don't know how effective he'll be," Richt said. "You probably won't see him before Alabama." Curry said he expects a final decision to be made late in the week. "I feel pain every day," he said. "But I'm getting more comfortable with it. The pain is decreasing every day." Greg Blue, who was supposed to be Curry's backup, continues to recover from a torn knee ligament. He doesn't expect to play this week. Defensive tackle Ken Veal came out of the South Carolina game with a sore left ankle, but he practiced Tuesday and will be ready to go against LSU. Running back Tony Milton (leg injury) could be ready to play after sitting out last week. Even so, redshirt freshman Michael Cooper is expected to make his second straight start.
