in their elections, well, he would just accept that. Isn't it just grand that 1100 of our soldiers will have died to institute a government that deprives women of equal rights, and makes the Quran the law of the land? Would America have agreed to this war if Bush told us beforehand about such an appeasement? Is this not a giant flip-flop? Can Bush seriously call an Islamic state a democracy? There is no longer any pretense of WMDs as the reason for this war... now the democracy pretense is falling apart, too.
if the United States votes to keep rex off of all forums, then the masses have spoken regardless if you like it. That's what democracy is all about. If they voted that your mother was allowed a 3rd trimester abortion then that is what America wanted. Democracy at work and quite possibly the right decision.
I really do have a great response to this line of reasoning, but my stomach hurts, and I need to go take a rex, and wipe my crawfish. :thumb:
Since you know so much why don't you go and lead their country? You would make a great Islamic leader.
He isn't their leader. He doesn't decide. The war isn't about equal rights. They died defending their country from dictator that harbored and funded terrorist. I wouldn't care. As long as they stop with the terrorism. It would be best for us if they were to become a democracy, but it they choose not to it's still not a failure. They would have picked an Islamic state through democracy. Says who? It was a hypothetical question. The pretense was to remove a terrorist state. If they choose to go back to the dictator that's their choice. As long as they don't go back to supporting terrorism. You can't force someone to live in a democracy, but you can help them.
This is quite a shock. I previously predicted Jackie Mason would be voted President of Iraq by a write-in majority.
Marc, your avatars are getting better, but it was really hard to take you serious while looking at J.J. "Kid Dyno-Mite"
