I know, I know. The game was FULL of close, game-changing calls, most of them going against you. It's true. It is sad the refs (as usual) blew it repeatedly and your team suffered the most today. If I was in your shoes, I'd feel the same way. I really just wanted to come over here and say that this LSU team is probably the best football team Auburn has ever beaten. Those boys scare the crap out of me. Your D-line literally eats live human beings for breakfast in the morning. Your O-line might as well be a rock-solid wall 20 feet tall and 60 feet wide. JaMarcus Russell is absolutely impossible to bring down and can throw the ball, flat-footed, what seems to be the entire length of the field. Auburn is good, but today we were also lucky to come out alive. I know you all are probably saying "Go f--- yourself, Barner", but I just wanted to give your team the respect it deserves. Now, please go beat Alabama 77-3. :geauxtige
We will beat bama...but need you guys to lose to (pick your 2) bama, GA, FL, or SC...or all for that matter :thumb:. Seriously...It was a well fought game and who knows what the outcome would have been in a better called came??? Where in SC do u live??
Thank you for the compliments. It is difficult for me to say this, but Auburn may be the best team I've ever watched LSU play against. That was one of the best games I've ever seen. We'll gladly beat Bama for you, but we would like for Au to do us a favor in return. Please lose close games to Florida and Georgia
Thanks for a classy post, scwareagle! We thought before the game these were two great teams, is would be a close hard fought game (I thought both teams would score a little more), and IT WAS A CLOSE HARD FOUGHT GAME! It was a great game to watch. Compliments to your fans in the stands, lots of orange and lots of noise. It looked like a great Saturday college football experience. I don't see your team dropping two games, so I think you represent the west this year. I wouldn't mind seeing you sweep and represent the SEC in the NC game against tOSU. A few of the calls were regrettable, and both teams regret them. A game of such high caliber players deserves to NOT be tarnished in any way by chump refs, and it was tarnished somewhat. But in the end, our inability to open holes and establish a running game was what really lost the game for us. Congratulations, and thanks for demonstrating your sportsmanship! We have 4 full time Auburn fans that post here, and you're welcome to join them. You only get tarred and feathered once a year!
FWIW, I'm in Summerville when I'm in town...we should get together sometime...if you guys are in town, perhaps Bobby Hartin's for the LSU-Bama game...
Daniel Island area...clements ferry road!! I watched the game at the Windjammer on Isle of Palms....too nice of a day to pass up laying around the beach.
Bobby Hartins??? Ive been here for 2 years and never heard of that place. I normally watch games in Mt. P or Downtown.
