The Gators have lost most nearly all National respect ... the Miami game is their only link. Yet, Florida has not been "badly beaten" by anyone. Their poor play calling and failure to make critical defensive adjustments during games cost them 2-3 losses, the Miami & Ole Miss games for sure.

Zook has seen LSU's Defensive Formations and blitz schemes. He knows what he's up against, knows he has a developing young QB who won't have all day to throw the ball ... and he's got to limit turnovers to keep FLA in the game.

The Florida OL is not a bad unit. They are experienced and have decent depth. They should keep LSU honest and do a much better job than the GA line did against the LSU Dee.

What do you do in Zook's shoes ... he knows Carthon & Wynn can't run consistently against this LSU defense ... but he's got to try it with lots of traps and draws early ... and a combo of passing plays with short drops, screens and routes to that big TE early in the game ... to keep LSU honest ... and maybe open up a running game ... but Saban & Muschamp will spot these formations and adjustments should keep FLA from consistently driving.

Most are picking 3-7 points by this Florida offense ... don't see it

17 looks to be the most LSU will give up.

21 points scoring should win it for LSU.

I expect FL to run toward the outside. Especially after showing the pass. We have shown some weakness in containing the RBs. I say that they try to combine this with short passes to the outside. Keep the CBs and Safeties on their toes. Force them to make the correct choice of commiting to the run or the pass.

I think that the blitzing packages that we have shown against the weaker Offensive line of UGA and poor QB play of MSU will be effective against FL. Now after this game, I expect the blitzing to slow down a bit as we get to more balanced teams (decent line and decent QB).

I expect this to be a war with both sides making big plays. You never know how an SEC game will go. Whether there is a lot of scoring or not, it will be close. I think that FL will hit some big plays and score 24 in this one. I think that our offense clicks on all cylinders and we score 34 though... Then again it could be 12 to 8.

    Here's my fear.

Shotgun draw first down. 2 yard gain.

2nd and 8, 5 yard pass out of the shotgun.

3rd and 3 deep bomb, incomplete.

4th down punt. This will be from our own 18 giving you excellent field position.
