I am look into buying a commercial range. Most likely a 48" range with two ovens. Does anyone have any suggestions on brands are any information on these ranges.

I don't know much about the home product sold as "commercial" ranges, but I do know that you can get great deals on commercial "commercial" ranges through used restaurant equipment dealers.

They are listed in the phone book, and often have great stuff for pennies on the buck.....

When I was evaluating gas grills for my outdoor kitchen, I opted to go with DCS. They are much less expensive than Viking, and I found the quality to be very high. I think DCS also has a line for commerical ranges. I am quite satisfied with my DCS purchase.

Depending on how much you want to spend on the range, I would highly recommend WOLF equipment. I own two of these ranges. One is 36" with a convection oven. The other is a 48" range top only that I built into a rolling cart for tailgating. Both are all stainless steel, look good, well made and cook like a mother. WOLF equipment is sold at Marchand's in New Orleans and Appliance Distributors in Baton Rouge. These ranges are both convertible, meanig that they will burn either natural gas or propane. Conversion kits are available for whatever type of fuel you choose to burn. Hope this helps.

I have owned both Viking and Wolf and prefer the Wolf. I had a little trouble with the Viking but the service was good.
