You must live somewhere where gas prices are higher. In Baton Rouge where I usually buy gas its $2.68 an hour ago

 

2.91 for unleaded
3.39 for prem

 

Its a bit more expensive in the NASA/Clear Lake area where I usually go when I am in Houston

I use the gas buddy app all the time.

 

Me too but I usually buy gas at a convenience store near my house. Its usually among the cheapest in town.

 

$2.59 is the best price in my area. $2.63 for XOM

 

Houston has always had better prices than Baton Rouge. I understand all the refineries in Houston but we have refineries too
