Had a nice time over at Woodrows for a number of games this season but I'll never forget how exciting it was to be there when we won the 2001 SEC Champ. Game. http://www.woodrows.net/events.html When that final gun sounded people were just high-fiving and hugging one another...it was very cool. Since there is a fair shot that we'll still be in the Sugar Bowl race come gametime I want to invite all my fellow Houston-area Tiger fans to show up this Saturday and rock that place like never before. I'm usually upstairs with my friends but this weekend it won't matter where you sit since there are no Texas teams playing that day and the whole place should be available for us. Besides, I hear they have some early-season crawfish on the menu, as well as $12 buckets of Abita. This should be a Saturday like few others in LSU football history and, win or lose, I'd like to meet a number of you who love the Tigers and have enjoyed this very magical season. GEAUX TIGERS!
Hey, maybe I can find some local Georgia fans to have friendly wagers with, too. I remember one very, very brave Tenn. fan who sat with us during that game. Very brave young woman, very brave.
