have they anounced where they will be this week? I hope they dont go to the Michigan-OSU game---they were just at the OSU game this week. Also did anybody see the "Geaux Tigers Beat Bama" sign on Gameday this past week. ESPN anouncers even commented on it.
Gameday's going to be in Ann Arbor... You have to realize that ABC either puts on Big XII or a "BCS Spotlight game" each week. This week, LSU is on CBS. OSU vs. UM is on ABC. The cross promotional decision, combined with the two BCS rankigns of OSU and UM are much more attractive to the ABC/ESPN, who are owned by the same company. They can make more money by having GameDay in Ann Arbor, then cross-promoting the heck out of the OSU/UM game. It's all a game. Ratings, advertising, all about the dollars... LSU and CBS may have much more to do with deciding the outcome of the BCS when you think about it, but the OSU/UM game will be the one that gets the high profile info. Herbstreit and Corso noticably talked about how even though they'd be in Ann Arbor, they would be watching the LSU/OM game, and how that game was the most interesting and most important game of the day next Saturday. Just my $0.02. It's all about ratings and advertising dollars, IMO.
