ESPN’s College GameDay will be on campus this weekend for second-ranked LSU’s game against ninth-ranked Virginia Tech. Many consider the LSU-Virginia Tech matchup one of this year’s top non-conference contests in college football. LSU and Virginia Tech square off at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday in a nationally televised contest on ESPN. The LSU campus will also serve as the host site for ESPN’s College GameDay Radio this weekend. College GameDay Radio will broadcast from the Parade Grounds throughout the day on Saturday. ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot is hosted by Chris Fowler with analysis from Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard. This year will mark the 21st season of college football coverage by GameDay with 14 of those years being on the campus of college football's top game of the week. This year’s trip marks the fifth time College GameDay has visited LSU for a football game. The last time College Gameday came to Baton Rouge for a game was for the 2004 season-opener against Oregon State. College Gameday was scheduled to return to Baton Rouge in 2005 for the Tennessee contest, however, Hurricane Rita forced the show to cancel its visit that weekend. "
The outrage! Isn't this the station so many Tiger fans just can't stand to watch? I suppose most here will continue their boycott of ESPN by not showing up next Saturday when they go live. That's a joke now. I hope ya'll have a GREAT time and represent LSU on national TV. :thumb:
Come on vball! If we stopped watching all the programs that make us mad at times we would never be able to watch another football game! And if liking them and watching them correlate then I guess every USC fan never watches anything but ESPN! I know I wouldn't!
If you're tailgating, you'll have to get there early. (If it's like last time) All the folks displaced by the Carnival from Conneticut will take the nearest availible spot
Screw that, I'm not walking all the way to the Parade Grounds. That means I would have to hump my ice chest. I would rather it at the pmac like for the Georgia game in '03. I guess I'll just watch it at the tailgate on TV.
I know of a program that tiger fans like, and we'll be live from the parade grounds all season, not just the big games. If any of you fans feel like boycotting those espn jerks, you can come watch our live show on the south end of the PG. :thumb:
Yeah Scotty, stay at the tailgate- you humping your ice chest on National TV isn't a very good mental picture.........I forsee youtubes on all our opponents' forums. :hihi:
