The Game broadcast on radio and TV (as if we all did not know) –

The LSU/State game is the first game in XM's contract with the Southeastern Conference.

XM Radio broadcast to start on Wednesday, August 29, 2007.
XM Satellite Radio's broadcasts from Starkville will originate live from the Junction area south of Scott Field, and they'll start early. XM anchor T.J. Rives will be broadcasting on XM channel 144 starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday and will report throughout the next two days.

The LSU network’s broadcast of the game will be on XM 200 at 7:00 pm.
The MSU network's broadcast of the game will be on XM 199 at 7:00 pm.
I think both network’s pregame broadcast will start at 5:00 pm.

Just in case you need to get in the mood - Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, ESPN Classic (2:00 p.m. central) - replay of the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl – LSU/Oklahoma.

    Thursday, August 30, 2007, ESPN & ESPNHD – the Game 7:00 p.m. (central).

THanks for the info. Do you know if they will play both announcers for all SEC games or is it just this one because it will be the only one on Thursady. Just curious. Im sure glad that they got that since I live out of the state of Louisiana.

I don't have any other information on future games at this time. Maybe another poster who subscribes to XM has that information.

There are a few SEC schools (like Fl) not on XM until 2008 or 2009. So my guess is that when LSU plays them, only the LSU feed will be available.

One of my biggest disappointments with Sirius' coverage last year was that the LSU broadcast was not always available. I remember last year specifically against MSU this was the case -- it just had the MSU feed. XM is off to a much more organized start.

I have 144 on now. However, it is just a SEC preview show. Not sure if it is live from Starkville or not. I am not sure that I can listen for too long. I have had enough of previews and am impatient for kickoff.
