Remember the month leading up to the LSU v. Ole Miss game last year? Remember how some tickets were going for $800? Remember how everyone was looking, begging, pulling every string they could to get tickets to the game? My boss was able to get 6 tickets a week before the game and he was elated when they arrived in the mail. The day before he was set to leave they were gone. We destroyed the office looking for them and never did. He was devastated and called the entire trip off and worked through the weekend. I went to the game and, as you all know, it was one of the better football games I have ever attended. Anyway, HE JUST FOUND THE TICKETS IN HIS DESK 5 MINUTES AGO - :dis:
I thought you said funny story? You better go check the roof to make sure he doesn't jump. What a bummer unless he is an ole myth fan. :bncry: :bncry: :bncry:
It's funny and sad actually. I lost 4 tickets once that I had over paid for. Decided it was better to pay $400 and enjoy the game instead of $200 and not see it. Would never had paid $400 for tickets but I couldn't see paying the damn $200 and watching on T.V. That was many years ago.
It was a Classic  So very sadd That game was a Classic! One of the best defensive stands I've ever seen. It was much better experincing the win in Oxford for their biggest game in 25 years or something.
I had 4 tickets to the Aerosmith concert about 2 months ago in Biloxi...I was dancing with some females on a dance floor in Mobile's downtown "no closing time" district, and wouldn't you know they fell out of my wallet! I was shocked when one of them picked them up and - unbeknownst to me - held them till we left, and kept saying, "you BETTER come talk to us before you leave, or you'll be sorry!" Thank God we did...She gave them back....$65 per piece...Chump change for some, but a whole weekend, vacation time, and $260+ gas/meal/hotels/drinks for me...
