    Look at this:
    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;...AwBHNlYwNlY2w-?slug=uscbcs&prov=tsn&type=lgns

I actually was so pissed by reading this, I emailed that moron these words:

USC Trojans lost to a worse team then what LSU lost to, they faced a bunch of no bodies all year long and faced a beaten #5 Michigan in their back yard, as far as I am concerned, LSU is #1 and their is no split title just because of what the AP bias opinions are. They simply dont look at the facts like the BCS does.

    LET IT GO.

The guy is obviously a jock sniffing USC Homer who has probably never strapped on a set of football pads in his life.
    He has nothing against LSU.
He obviously knows nothing about LSU.
His entire article was spent on a rant extoling the virtues of the condoms.
He reminds me of the kid in elementary school who often got pantsed at recess and had to get the school janitor to reteive his britches from high in the schoolyard tree while the rest of the students watched and giggled.
    You've heard of bandwagon fans?
Well, this guy is a bandwagon journalist.
Don't hate this poor insufferable twit, pity him.
Congratulations Tigers and Tiger Fans for a magnificent National Championship season. :geaux: :lsug:

    And besides...

What does that twit know about college football? He works for the Sporting News. They lost all credibility when they picked the Aubies to win the national championship. HA! What a loser.

    yeah its the truth.

But its like that one player said from LSU and I would have to agree with him on that, He said if a USC player can chew Gum and Walk at the same time, they get on the cover of Sports Illustrated. I agree with it cause its simple fact, USC is over rated because they beat alot of useless teams all season and lost to the worse team in the season.

Even though these columnists don't bother me with their assanine comments, I still like to respond to them. Here's what I emailed to the writer of the above column that was posted.

    Tom Dienhart of Sporting News.com

Your column on Yahoo has to be one of the most ignorant posts I have ever read. I'm not a BCS follower or supporter, but your post just proves the point on why we do need it. The AP poll is so biased, the only way to have an unbiased judgement is with the use of statistics and actual truth. Although I do agree that USC deserved to be in the Sugar Bowl instead of OU, LSU deserved every right to be in that game. Even though I believe both OU and LSU are the top 2 teams in the country, yea....better than USC, USC should've been in the game because of OU's lost to KSU.

While OU dominated every opponent throughout the regular season (maybe the SOS was weaker than it appeared, but you still have to be damn good to win a game 77-0), USC played an extremely weak PAC 10 conference, and lost to a very pathetic at the time, Cal Berkely. In the last game of the season against Oregon St., USC could've also loss if Oregon St. wouldn't have had so many turnovers. Also Michigan being #4 was without a doubt a HUGE overranking. So what does it prove that USC was the champs of a WEAK Pac 10, and beat a highly overanked Michigan team that decided to not show up on gameday? It doesn't prove a thing. USC would not be able to move the ball like they did to Michigan against an LSU or OU defense....that's a FACT.

In the meantime, LSU defeats a great Ole Miss team to claim the SEC West Title then absolutely demolishes a very great and high ranked Georgia Bulldog team to win the SEC Championship. LSU then went on to beat the #1 Oklahoma Sooners in the Sugar Bowl to win THE National Championship. The SEC continues to be the powerhouse of the country, and anyone who cannot see this is blind beyond recognition.

The BCS did work this year by placing the #1 team in the country in the Sugar Bowl. The AP Poll no longer even has a "title". The AP Poll is a portion of the BCS. This is where it worked. The BCS took the bias poll of the AP with USC #1, figured in the facts, and spit out the real National Champions. Anyone that is not on the west coast can see this.

LSU is the ONE and ONLY National Champions of 2004. Maybe next year USC....the University of Spoiled Crybabies.

By the way, Bob Stoops took a loss to the #1 team in the country better than Pete Carroll took his win against Michigan....pretty pathetic.
