The Big Ten is having a nice year, but I’m not ready to dismiss the Big XII or SEC. Lop off Baylor and conveniently forget that Kansas lost to Northwestern before things started to come together for the Jayhawks, and the two conferences match up well. For the sake of argument, lop off Vanderbilt and bring the SEC into the mix for a head-to-head-to-head challenge basing this off where each conference would probably seed the teams right now, primarily, but not totally, based on rankings.
1) Georgia vs. Oklahoma vs. Ohio State. Projected Winner: Oklahoma, Big XII
2) LSU vs. Nebraska vs. Iowa Projected Winner: LSU, SEC
3) Arkansas vs. Texas vs. Purdue Projected Winner: Arkansas, SEC
4) Auburn vs. Oklahoma State vs. Wisconsin Projected Winner: Auburn, SEC
5) Tennessee vs. Texas Tech vs. Michigan Projected Winner: Michigan, Big Ten
6) Florida vs. Missouri vs. Michigan State Projected Winner: Missouri, Big XII
7) South Carolina vs. Kansas State vs. Minnesota Projected Winner: Minnesota, Big Ten
8) Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M vs. Penn State Projected Winner: Texas A&M, Big XII
9) Alabama vs. Colorado vs. Northwestern Projected Winner: Alabama, SEC
10) Kentucky vs. Kansas vs. Illinois Projected Winner: Kentucky, SEC
11) Mississippi State vs. Iowa State vs. Indiana Projected Winner: MSU, SEC
The Obviously Subjective Final Count: SEC 6 – Big XII 3 – Big Ten 2. The most interesting thing about this hypothetical exercise is where the Big Ten ranks in the pecking order. Projecting Minnesota is a bit of a gift in the seven slot, while the Big Ten team would most likely be third in slot 1, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Here's another thread from CFN

it projects a narrow win by USC. I don't see Summers having a good day against LSU's defensive front. As long as LSU doesn't get too far behind real early, they'll handle the Gamecocks.
