Does this have anything to do with that green politician you're supporting?

Then don't fry them. I'll only throw them at the TV. :hihi:

Ours is really simple. Coat slices of green tomatoes in a mixture of flour, corn meal and Tony's. Fry and eat.

I was beginning to wonder if it was a trick question. Mastermind, it really is just that simple to make yummy fried green tomatoes. We use the same mixture for okra as well. :thumb:

Mine's a little different. I put a little oil in my egg mixture (the oil helps the batter stick better). I do plain flour for the batter but also add spices to it. I dip and batter the tomatoe slices twice for better coating. And if I'm just doing one tomatoe (JJ doesn't care for them) I like to butter fry them. The butter gives a great flavor to the tomatoes themselves. You just can't do too many as the butter will blacken fast.

Ive seen a few different ways people dress them. with fresh diced tomatoes and romoulade drizzled over them. Just a couple of different ways, I know how to prepare them as far as frying goes.
Just looking for a couple of suggestions with any toppings.
