    USA Today, Friday, August 31, 2007

    This is a nice read with several comments and quotes about LSU and how we take care of Mike the Tiger. There is also a place at the bottom to leave comments if interested. LSU by far gives more support to its school mascot then any University anywhere. We can all be proud of what we commit to Mike living in the best Habitat possible. :tigerhead

    Most animals don't miss it if they have never had it. But it would be a bit cruel if he has tasted the fruit but was never able to partake again.

    The Habitat is large enough for a complete family. Why not get Mike a mate and let them have some cubs? Then there could be a blood line started.

    My friend was there when they let the new mike out for the first time. He was loving it, running all over like crazy. He'll have a great life. It beats starving in the shrinking jungle!

    Male tigers are solitary... would probably kill any cubs and would definately get tired of a female..
