I've been passin Fricken Chicken several times a day for the past few months and just recently tried it. Their fried chicken is excellent, better than Popeyes or Churches. Located at the intersection of Burbank/Gardere.
Too Funny! I've never even heard of that franchise......need to get out of the "Country" sometimes I guess.
Someone neds to open one in south Baton Rouge. Since the Popeyes on Highland closed and the Churches and KFC on Perkins closed, there is a lack of fried chicken places in south Baton Rouge.
"Welcome to Fricken Chicken, may I take your fricken order", and then "Thank you, pull up to the fricken window". Really, it's hysterical.
I find Popeyes to be expensive. The other thing that irks me is that Fried Chicken places charge you more for specifying "Dark" meat, then turn around and do the same to the guy who specifies "White". Chicken is cheap- talk about a markup. I can buy a whole hen for 5 dollars.
My brother in law still laughs at that sign from when I took him to a game this year. "Get a fricken bucket of fricken chicken"
Just for the hell of it... I had Popeye's for MLK day and it was delicious. I haven't been to Fricken Chicken yet, may have to check that out. I also saw that KFC has a pretty cheap all you can eat buffett. I want to hit that up.
I had that today at the Amite location. It was pretty good stuff.... but 9 bucks for a KFC meal is pretty high.
